Special Event - Official Backland Opening

19 October 2012

On a beautiful Autumnal morning we celebrated the official opening of our Backland.

Friends, family and the local community came out in force to celebrate with us. Samba workshops and a parade led us out to the Backland where scarecrows lay in wait to be judged.

Steve McCabe MP officially declared the Backland open and as rapturous applause rang out in Selly Oak the sun remained shining.

We also celebrated our Harvest Assembly, which was based around the theme of sharing and donations were collected by volunteers for the Christian Life Centre.

All in all a lovely day to remember
